Islam teaches Muslims to take responsibility of not only themselves, but they must also consider those around them. Allah (SWT) honours those who connect and care for His creation. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you.

At Zuri we strive to teach our learners that the privileges afforded to them oblige them to be of service to others and it is only by serving others will they then be elevated in the eyes of God. Through engaging in activities that inculcate in them a sense of community responsibility we seek to nurture and imbue in our learners a deep sense of compassion for their communities wherever they are in the world. We aim to nurture leaders that seek to learn about and help their community leaving the spaces and places that they are in better than they found them.
