Our Story

Zuri International Salama School was founded by Wambui Nyamathwe Kabage and Dr Nimmo Osman Elmi, an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Behavioural Scientist respectively; mothers who had lived and studied globally and who in August of 2020 at the height of the COVID pandemic when the educational sector was in a state of global chaos, decided to take control of their children’s education. They envisioned a peaceful place of excellence where their children would receive a globally competitive education, one that created a resilient, adaptable and independent learner, one who was prepared for the rigours of the global academic world that is inundated with fast changing technology but most critically they wanted their children to be grounded in their Islamic tradition, well versed in the Quran and Sunnah (The way of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). Their desire:

To nurture learners that will become Moral Leaders with Noble Character.
